Driver gets 'genius' revenge on entitled neighbour who tried to steal their parking space

A disgruntled car driver has shared the ingenious way they managed to get revenge on an 'entitled Karen' who kept flouting the rules of conduct in the communal space. The slang term is typically used to refer to a middle-class white woman who is perceived as entitled or excessively demanding.

Taking to , the theatrical man borrowed a line from iconic play Julius Caesar to start his hilarious tale. He wrote: "Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears! I live in an apartment block where parking is a hot commodity. We all kind of follow an unspoken rule: if someone's waiting for a spot, you let them have it. Simple enough, right? Well, not if you're Karen."

He continued: "One evening, I'm doing the usual post-work parking hunt, and after what feels like an eternity, I finally see someone about to pull out near my building. I've got my blinker on, patiently waiting for the spot. But just as I'm about to pull in, Karen zooms in out of nowhere, grabs the spot, and strolls off without a care.

"I honk, thinking maybe she didn't see me, but nope – she just gives me that classic Karen wave and disappears into the building like she did nothing wrong." Fuming, the man decided that rather than confronting 'Karen,' he decided to handle things a "little differently".

He went on: "Here's where it gets fun. I have a friend who works for the towing company that our complex uses. After venting to him about my little Karen problem, he tells me Karen's car is technically over the line into a fire lane. Not by much, but enough to be a violation. So, the next day, he swings by, slaps a warning on her car, and – of course, Karen being Karen – she ignores it. The car doesn't move, and by the next night, it's towed."

Thinking the matter was finished, he was surprised when a week later his 'friend' Karen was back taking up "two spaces" as if she was trying to "stake her claim". He added: "I couldn't believe the nerve."

He went on: "I made another call. And yep, another tow. But this time, I decided to leave a little parting gift: a sticky note on her windshield that says, 'Parking is a privilege, not a right'. Now, Karen's been banished to parking on the street. Every time she tries to park in the lot, she somehow ends up 'accidentally' breaking another parking rule. Funny how that works."

He finished: "And ever since, Karen's been very quiet. No more smug waves, no more taking spots. Just Karen, being Karen, quietly parking down the street where she belongs."

People were thrilled with the petty but justified revenge. One user replied: "This is such a genius idea, I would use it for evil too often." Another person added: "You are my hero." And someone else penned: "The best part is she was towed for actual violations, albeit they were pretty minor. Screw you Karen."
