If you have a Harry Potter shaped hole in your life and are desperate for some fantasy, magic and adventure reading material, then these book recommendations are for you.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was first published in 1997 and the final book, the Deathly Hallows in 2007. The books have been read by millions of people worldwide with many die hard fans rereading them throughout the years.

The series, which were originally meant for children, are full of fantasy, adventure and drama. But if you fancy yourself a change, then there are a whole host of books out there with magic and adventure in them.

Fantasy books are becoming more and more popular, with many fans diving into new worlds to get their fix. Perhaps readers like the sense of escape, indulging in a full of make believe and thrill.

It's the follow up to the popular Fourth Wing and Iron Flame books.

The Songbird and the Heart of Stone - Carissa Broadbent

The Deadly Fates - Dhonielle Clayton

Dhonielle Clayton's The Deadly Fates is the third book in the famous The Marvellers series.

When Ella, Brigit, and Jason return for their third year at the Arcanum Training Institute, they discover a dark plot brewing. Secrets and deception surround the magic school's founders, and the trio will stop at nothing to find out what really happened to the Institute's enigmatic Conjure architect.
