were held to a 2-2 draw with in the Premier League in their previous fixture. PSG also dropped points in their previous fixture as they were beaten 3-1 at home to Nice in Ligue 1.
That defeat also saw PSG's chances of an unbeaten season in Ligue 1 come to an end in their 31st top-flight fixture. Arsenal, of course, beat the French club in the league phase of the Champions League back in October.
Ahead of the clash against Arsenal, PSG have been warned of "concerns" they could have ahead of the Champions League semi-final. French football expert Jonathan Johnson explained what the mindset will be at the Ligue 1 club going into the semi-final against the Gunners.
“I mean, there is cause for concern, but there’s also not cause for concern,” said Johnson on the PSG Talking podcast.
“If this is PSG just going through a bit of the decompression period that comes after securing a league title, then, as long as they’re ready to compete over the two legs against Arsenal, you could argue it’s not that big a deal.
“But if PSG fall flat, especially in the first leg against Arsenal away from home, that leaves them with a real mountain to climb in the second leg.
"And that would suggest the PSG players have taken their eyes off the prize at the worst possible moment. So, I’m not reading too much into their form right now.”
