Good Morning Britain star Richard Madeley shared a crude response while appearing on The Wheel.

On Saturday night, Michael McIntyre welcomed , Susan Wokoma, Richard Madeley, Laura Whitmore, Ade Adepitan, Ayda Field, Jamie Laing, and Sophie Habboo to the show.

However, Jamie and Sophie weren't the only married duo on the show because Ayda received a surprise visit from her superstar husband, Robbie Williams.

At the start of the episode, he jokingly appeared from the platform below as a contestant before deciding to stay alongside his wife for the rest of the programme.

Watching the duo sitting alongside one another, Michael commented on their affection. He said, "After 14 years of marriage, that's amazing!"

Looking at Jamie and Sophie, he asked: "How are you two doing, oh, also quite pally over there. It's a very loved-up wheel! It's feeling a bit three's a crowd, isn't it?

"So awkward, I don't know what to do with myself! If only Judy (Finnigan) was here. You'd show them how it's really done, wouldn't you Dickie?"

Richard smiled at Michael's quip and replied: "Absolutely."

The pair, who were the original hosts of , have been married for almost 40 years after meeting in 1982.

Michael added: "You've always been very frisky on This Morning, I remember back in the day, always."

Laughing, Richard cheekily replied: "Who wouldn't be with Judy?!"

The host hit back: "Yes, I know! That's what I love about you, very romantic."

As the show came to an end, Richard was tasked with helping the final contestant, Livvi, earn some money.

Michael explained to her that if she chose the host as her expert and was successful, she'd take home a whopping £90,000.

Deciding to try to win the biggest amount, Richard was clearly feeling the pressure. The 68-year-old put his head into his hands as Michael yelled, "It's happening again!"

He replied: "Twice in a row. You know this is ageing me. I've aged 10 years in the last three because of this."

The BBC host explained Richard had been in this position before on the show, having helped one person take home the cash pot prize of £92,000.

Michael joked: "He is making more money for other people than he's making!" Nodding his yeah, Richard confessed that was true.

The final question that Livvi had to answer was surrounding herbs as she was asked which out of a possible four had a liquorice-like flavour.

In the end, Richard told the contestant he believed the correct answer would be Tarragon, which she decided to go for.

When Michael revealed it was the right choice, earning her £90,000, the contestant was overwhelmed as she ran up to Richard and gave him a huge hug.

The Wheel is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
