Registration for the NDA and CDS 2 examinations will start today, here is the complete information

If you want to serve the country by becoming an officer in the Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force, then there is great news for you. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for National Defense Academy (NDA), Naval Academy (NA) and Combined Defense Services (CDS 2) Examination 2025. The online application process for this recruitment will start from 28 May 2025, and candidates will be able to apply till 17 June 2025.

Who can apply?

Only those candidates can apply for NDA who have passed 12th examination from a recognized board. If you want to join Navy or Naval Academy, then you must have passed 12th with Physics and Mathematics subjects or you are studying with these subjects this year.

On the other hand, for CDS, candidates must have a graduation or engineering degree from a recognized university. Apart from this, candidates will also have to follow the age limit and other rules set by UPSC. Full information about this is given in the detailed notification.

Necessary preparation before application

To complete the online application without any hassle, keep some documents ready in advance, such as recent passport size photo, scanned copy of signature, 10th-12th-graduation mark sheets, Aadhaar card, active mobile number and email ID. Also keep a debit or credit card for fee payment.

What is the application fee?

In this recruitment, candidates of General, OBC and EWS category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 200. At the same time, the application has been kept free for SC, ST and female candidates of all categories. Fee can be paid through online mode.
