Tentative dates for JEE Main 2025 paper-1
JEE Main 2025 Paper 1, which is applicable for BE/BTech programs, will consist of 75 questions totaling 300 marks. The exam will include 60 multiple choice questions (MCQs) in Section A and 15 questions in Section B that require numerical answers.
The test will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format over a duration of three hours. It's important to note that the NTA has reverted to the pre-COVID-19 format for the exam, and Section B will now feature only 5 mandatory questions.
NTA plans to conduct JEE Main 2025 across two sessions: January and April.
The January exam is tentatively set to take place from January 22 to January 31, 2025. The exam will be available in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

- Photograph and Signature: Upload a recent color photograph, signature, Class X or equivalent certificate, and PwD/PwBD certificate (if applicable).
- Photograph Specifications: The photo should show 80% of the face without a mask, against a white background. It should be saved as 'Photograph' in JPG/JPEG format, between 10 KB to 300 KB.
- Signature Format: The signature should be clearly legible, named ‘Signature,’ and in JPG/JPEG format, between 10 KB to 50 KB.
- Class X Certificate: This should be a PDF file named ‘Class-X Certificate,’ ranging from 10 KB to 300 KB, and must be clearly legible.
- PwD/PwBD Certificate: If applicable, upload this document as a PDF named ‘Disability Certificate,’ also between 10 KB to 300 KB, ensuring it is legible.
