Guna (Madhya Pradesh): One person died and four others were injured after a motorcycle lost control and crashed near a temple in Guna on Wednesday.
The accident occurred near Hanuman Mandir, between Saretha and Patan villages in the Bamori area of Guna district on Wednesday morning.
According to information, the accident happened around 11 a.m. The five people on the bike were returning home after attending a wedding. They are said to be from a village near Badarwas in Shivpuri district. Their names are yet to be officially confirmed.
After the crash, one person fell near an iron railing by the roadside and died on the spot.
Two others were thrown off the road and found injured in nearby bushes. All four injured were taken to the district hospital in a 108 ambulance.
Police are currently investigating the cause of the accident to find out exactly what went wrong.
Early reports suggest that the motorcycle may have lost control due to overspeeding or poor road conditions in the area.
However, the exact reason will be known only after a full investigation is completed.
The families of the victims are heartbroken and in mourning, as what was supposed to be a joyful return from a wedding turned into a painful tragedy.
