Madhya Pradesh: Ban On Transfers Ends, Policy Yet To Be Issued

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The ban on transfers ended on Thursday, according to a cabinet decision. There will be no ban on transfer until May 30.

Nevertheless, the General Administration Department (GAD) has yet to issue a transfer policy after the cabinet decision. The cabinet approved the policy, which is yet to come to the public domain.

Once the transfer policy is out, it will be clear to the departmental officers how the process for transfer should be carried out.

The cabinet has fixed transfers according to the percentage of posts. The employees can apply for transfer online or offline. The Chief Secretary has added a point to the policy. A department can issue transfer orders after getting the cases registered in e-office.

The ministers have to send the transfer orders to the Chief Minister through Coordination for one month.

Many employees will visit the offices of ministers for one month for transfer.

The legislators have become active after the removal of the ban on transfers.

The legislators have begun to prepare a list of officers for transfer in their constituencies.

The in-charge ministers of districts have the right to transfer. Local leaders have also become active for transfers in the districts functioning under the in charge ministers.
