Dunelm slashes up to 50% off its home and garden furniture - here's what we're buying

With summer on the horizon, Dunelm has launched its seasonal sale with up to 50% off on home furnishings, garden items, and accessories. The retailer has quickly become one of my go-to places for new furniture, home accessories, and garden essentials.

As a shopping writer, I'm constantly browsing the latest offerings from my favourite homeware retailers, including and (who also have several discounts on their website at the moment).

, in particular, seems to be quick to adopt the latest interior trends while keeping prices within my budget. Occasionally, they even manage to offer items that resemble higher-end home goods I've seen online but at a fraction of the cost (their version of the Gluggle jug sells for a maximum of £44, which is a relief when the originals can go for over £100).

As a shopping writer (and self-confessed interiors enthusiast), I've taken it upon myself to sift through the pages of discounted items to pick out just a few of my favourites (some of which have already found their way into my online basket).

Florals and summer are a match made in heaven, so if you're looking to spruce up your bedroom for the season without having to crack open a tin of paint, this neutral-toned floral-print bedding is an excellent option. Dunelm's snuggle chair range has been on my radar since their launch last year due to their luxurious appearance. Granted, they aren't the most affordable items in the range, but they exude such a high-end aesthetic and practically invite you to nestle into one with a good book.

The snuggle chairs are available in a variety of colours and patterns, but the pale blue stripe snuggle chair is currently discounted by 20% as part of the summer sale. The nautical pinstripes and light colourway give it a breezy, coastal vibe. Moreover, pale blues have already been a hit in interior design for 2025 – a trend that doesn't seem to be fading.

Usually priced at £399, you can now grab this chair for just £319.20, which, according to Dunelm's price history checker, is the lowest it's ever been.

While it might be a bit of an investment, previous customers have left positive reviews, giving the item a score of 4.8 out of a possible five stars. One customer said: "I saw this chair in store and ordered as soon as I had checked measurements at home. It is perfect for the space. It is very comfortable and can seat one or two people. It looks expensive; the material is very thick and of good quality."
