Meanwhile, Junior, 19, rocked a black turtleneck and chain under a grey blazer suit while Peter looked dapper in a sparkly bowtie. Emily, who has three children with the Aussie, also turned heads in a plunging off-the-shoulder gown with slits on the waist and ribs.

Speaking to on her So Wrong It's Right podcast, Katie revealed what she thinks of her children's blossoming careers as they make the leap from school kids to working grown-ups.

Referring to the 17 year old as her "mini me", Katie said: "I want Princess do her thing and not have mum by her side - let her enjoy it, and let them graft like how I had to, and they'll appreciate it more. I don't like it when you get kids who are given it on a plate. They need to learn the work ethic."

Junior followed in his popstar dad's footsteps last year when he released his debut single, which shot to the top of the official iTunes chart within a few days. Meanwhile, his sister Princess has secured a number of high-profile modelling gigs with brands, including PrettyLittleThing.

, who has been performing since the age of five, has also spoken in the past about his strong views on his kids and work. When he was in Grease The Musical, he said "working is a means for me to be able to provide for my family. I also think it's setting a good example and showing that you have to work hard and things don't come easy."
