Tottenham will resist any move for Destiny Udogie this summer. have been linked with a move for the Italy left back but Udogie is likely to be on a long list rather than their No1 target.
That is partly because do not want to sell a player who they rate highly despite a season which has been disrupted by injuries. Udogie, 22, also has four years left on a contract and would be incredibly difficult to get out of Tottenham with chairman , a notoriously difficult negotiator.

But internally, Udogie is still highly regarded and seen as a brilliant piece of business having joined from Udinese for just £15m in 2022 before spending another year in Italy and then arriving at Spurs in 2023. City are looking to rebuild this summer and new director of football Hugo Viana is evaluating targets.
