According to the victim, she had approached the Harduaganj police station in search of her husband, who has been missing for several days. Instead of helping, the sub-inspector, identified as Dinesh Kumar, allegedly attempted to exploit her vulnerability.

The woman claims that the officer made repeated advances, calling her into a private room and subjecting her to inappropriate behavior. She further alleges that when she resisted, the officer threatened her with dire consequences and tried to silence her.
