Udaipur. Udaipur city, famous as Venice City in Rajasthan, remains in the headlines in the state in terms of tourism. Now illegal activities are also going on in the hotels here. A major action has been taken by Savina Police in Udaipur. The team raided a hotel here and caught 7 boys and 5 girls in the case of illegal prostitution. They are now being interrogated. The arrested girls are from Nepal and Jharkhand.
Dirty business was going on in Hotel Oxo Inn
According to SHO Ajay Singh, the police had been receiving information about illegal prostitution in Hotel Oxo Inn located in Sector 13 for a long time. The team got it confirmed. Where it was found to be happening in reality. After which, taking action, 7 boys and 5 girls were caught from the spot. The arrested girls are from Nepal, Delhi, Raipur and Jharkhand.
Udaipur police caught these people red handed
Apart from this, the police have arrested Mukesh Meena, Bhavesh Joshi, Rajesh Kumar, Nathuram Patel, Yashpal Vaishnav, Bapulal Patel, Jayesh Bhatia in the case. However, the police have not revealed the names of the girls arrested in the case. At present, the police is investigating for how long illegal prostitution was being carried out here.
Prostitution in the name of massage was also caught in Jaipur
- Let us tell you that this is not the first case of such action in the state. Earlier also the police has taken such action in other districts including the capital Jaipur. Where illegal prostitution is done under the guise of hotels.
- In most of the cases, the police arrest the accused for disturbing the peace and then release them. In such cases, after being released, they start illegal trade again. Whereas as per the rules, action is taken in these cases under the PITA Act. This action is taken by an RPS level officer.
