Big Brother viewers were left with jaws dropped after tonight's (November 8) sensational double eviction blindsided the audience after they "forgot housemate was there".
Lily, Emma, Ali, Khaled, and Baked Potato were all on the chopping block, their fates in the public's hands.
There was already drama as newly crowned Head of House Marcello rescued Thomas from elimination danger, controversially substituting him with an unsuspecting Baked Potato who hadn't attracted any nominations herself.
The episode was rife with intrigue and excitement, dotted with jaw-dropping moments such as one competitor being cautioned over objectionable remarks.
In the end, Lily and Khaled faced the music as they were handed their marching orders by Big Brother viewers, reports .
However, some suggested that it took what felt like an eternity for one housemate to grace the screens for the first time tonight, leading many watchers to do a double-take.
Viewer reactions flooded social media, with tweets popping up like: "36 minutes in and Thomas finally makes an appearance. I forget he's in there. He shouldn't have been saved."
A different user chuckled: "Nice for Tom to show up hahaha", while yet another posted: "Thomas has uttered a total of 0 words in the past 30 minutes and is making it to the final week."
One more fan expressed bewilderment saying: "I swear I haven't seen Thomas once since Wednesday's episode.."
Meanwhile, Friday's edition threw the housemates into chaos once again, as a fresh rule infraction saw them rounding up for Big Brother's gruelling bootcamp.
Following Lily's blatant rule break, where she told Sarah she would nominate her if she survived another week in the house, all housemates were subjected to training drills under the supervision of drill sergeant Marcello. They were also instructed by Big Brother to arrange themselves according to various statements.
However, viewers expressed their dissatisfaction when the housemates were asked to line up in order of who was most likely to win, with Segun and Thomas taking the first two spots, leading viewers to comment that the 'delusion is real'. The house was filled with audible gasps as Lily and Khaled were revealed as the latest evictees.
After their departure from the show, hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best are poised to capture their immediate reactions on the companion show, Late and Live, following the main programme.
Big Brother continues Sunday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
