The iconic Lambeau Field and the surrounding Titletown District in , Wisconsin, will be the backdrop for this year's eagerly awaited ceremony. Although there is a veritable feast of talent across the seven rounds and hundreds of potential future stars, it's the first round where attention intensifies, given that these players are typically the best out of all the pro-football hopefuls. Jeanty is widely expected to be one of the early picks, owing to his standout college career at Boise State.

The running back has been turning heads in college football. During his three-year tenure with the Broncos, he recorded an impressive 50 touchdowns and 4,769 rushing yards from 750 carries.

But it's not just die-hard fans and franchises who have been singing the praises of running back standout Jeanty; even Sky Sports star Phoebe Schecter has joined the chorus of applause.

While attending a girls-only flag football event in Manchester co-hosted with the Chicago Bears, the ex-Buffalo Bills coach singled out her top pick for the NFL Draft during an interview with . The sports broadcaster spoke about her perspective on a "turbulent" NFL offseason and current choice for a top pick in the Draft.

Schecter confessed that there wasn't enough time to scrutinise every draft-ready athlete in 2025, considering the unprecedented frenzy in free agency decisions across various teams.

She said: "I just think, the off season's been so crazy anyways with the way that free agency has kind of gone and the moves of different athletes from different teams.

"It feels I feel like every year I'm saying it's getting crazier and crazier, but it genuinely is turning into madness - like in terms of who's moving where; Russell Wilson just signing with the Giants and Deebo Samuel signing with the Commanders, like moves you didn't think would happen.

"So I think there's just so much turbulence within that, that my focus hasn't even been on a Draft, because I'm like, this is crazy what's going on here! I have to like keep track of where all these players have gone from one scene to another in a matter of like two weeks."

Despite her busy schedule, Schecter has pinpointed Jeanty as her standout prospect for 2025, touting the running back as an all-round sportsman that would be invaluable to any team lineup.

She explained: "I like Ashton Jeanty, the running back. I think he is one of the guys I liked, during our NFL season, watching him in college. I just think he's humble, a true workhorse and as a running back, I mean, he's explosive, he's strong, he's physical, he's everything that you want, and then a great team player on top of it."

With eyes on the upcoming Draft, Jeanty stands as a promising recruit potentially filling a gap for squads eager for a running back, setting him on a path to stardom in the league.
