
With summer just around the corner, is on the way for Brits. Maps from WX Charts show that on Saturday, May 31 at 6pm, some parts of the UK will see as warm as 26C. In London, will be around 25C with surrounding areas also seeing around 24C to 26C.
As for the Midlands, these same will also be felt but up towards the north of England, it will be slightly cooler at around 16C to 19C. In the south west, 18C to 21C will be present while Wales will see 16C to 23C, Scotland will see 14C to 16C.
On Monday June 2, will continue with maps showing that at 12 noon, all areas in England will see around 18C to 20C.
Scotland will see 14C to 20C and Wales will see 15C to 19C.
Brits may be wondering if summer conditions will arrive in time for Bank Holiday Monday on May 26, but the will not be present by Monday.
Maps for May 26 show highs of 17C, nearly 10C colder than expected just a few days later on May 31. A forecast says: "Changeable conditions are expected across the UK during this period."
It adds: "Atlantic frontal systems are expected to spread in from the west at times bringing showers or longer periods of rain to many areas.
"Some heavy rain is possible and this could be thundery at times. Wettest conditions overall are likely to be in the west and northwest of the UK, with comparatively drier in the sheltered east and southeast."
It adds that strong winds may also develop at times, particularly in the north and northwest.
There will be some dry interludes likely with periods of sunshine and are expected to be slightly above average overall, but will be cooler in any prolonged periods of rainfall, it says.
