Sony has . Available to download and install from June 3, the next wave of Essentials are headlined by annual basketball sim NBA 2K25.
The graphically stunning basketball game will be joined by survival horror remake Alone in the Dark, which made its debut in 2024. The game features performances by Stranger Things actor David Harbour, as well as Killing Eve star Jodie Comer.
Playable on and , Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is the third game joining the PlayStation Plus Essentials line-up on June 3.
The cel-shaded action game is something of a love letter to the excellent Jet Set Radio.
Sony explains more: "Start your own cypher and dance, paint graffiti, collect beats, combo your tricks and face off with the cops to stake your claim to the sprawling metropolis of New Amsterdam.
"Red is a graffiti writer who lost his head and instead has an cyberhead. In search of his roots he joins the Bomb Rush Crew, Tryce and Bel, who are aiming to go All City.
"Together they slowly discover who it was that cut off his head and how deep Red's human side is linked to the graffiti world."
After some disappointing months for PS Plus, the June games are definitely a return to form, featuring a nice variety of experience.
As an added bonus, Sony has also announced plans to give fans an additional download to take things to the next level.
As , Sony is giving away Destiny 2: The Final Shape DLC for free. Better yet, the Destiny 2 Final Shape add-on will be available from May 28.
Outside of the PS Plus Essentials, Sony is also adding games to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium.
This includes GTA 3 Definitive Edition and Skull and Bones on PS Plus Extra, as well as Myst and sequel Riven for Premium.
Extra subscribers will also be able to download and play the superb Another Crab's Treasure from May 29, alongside Destiny 2: The Legacy Collection on June 4.
