After former president Bill Clinton referred to Republican senate candidate from Arizona, Kari Lake, as 'physically attractive,' Lake responded to the comments Thursday at a rally in the state. Clinton, who was campaign for Lake's opponent, Democrat Ruben Gallego, criticised Lake largely in his speech, but did not miss the opportunity to call her "physically attractive." "I actually woke up this morning and I found out one of the more familiar Democrats was in town, and his name is Bill Clinton....actually paid me a compliment," Lake said. "He was here campaigning for Ruben Gallego, my cop-hating, open borders, anti-woman opponent. And Bill Clinton, he paid me a compliment. He said I was physically attractive."First of all, you know what? As a middle-aged woman, I'm flattered," Lake continued. "I'm flattered, okay? I don't get those kinds of compliments every day. Two, I thought I was a little too old for him. Doesn't he like interns?" Here's the video:
Lake then added: "Three, I'm happily married to my husband, Jeff, who's right down here, the love of my life. And four, nobody in their right mind wants to cross Hillary Clinton. It's just dangerous."Also read: What Did Bill Clinton Say?
