Golf prodigy Ojaswini Saraswat bags 8th national title at IGU West Bengal Ladies & Junior Girls Championship

Jaipur: Rising golf star Ojaswini Saraswat from Jaipur has added another prestigious title to her growing list of accolades by winning the IGU West Bengal Ladies & Junior Girls Golf Championship, held from May 13 to May 16, 2025, at the esteemed Royal Calcutta Golf Club.

Representing Rajasthan and a proud member of Rambagh Golf Club, Ojaswini showcased consistency and composure across three rounds, finishing with a dominant 11-stroke lead to secure her 8th national title.

Displaying remarkable form, Ojaswini carded rounds of 2-over-par, level-par, and 2-over-par, respectively, maintaining her lead from the opening day and never looking back. This victory marks her third national win in 2025 alone, underlining her continued ascent in the Indian junior golf circuit.

Ojaswini, who holds a notable Indian Golf Union (IGU) ranking among junior girls, has been a consistent performer over the years, having previously captured titles across multiple zones in India. Her journey reflects dedication, discipline, and a deep passion for sport, making her a standout name among the country's emerging golfing talents.

Reflecting on her win, Ojaswini expressed heartfelt gratitude to her family, especially her uncle Sandeep Saraswat, her coach and training team, whose relentless support has been instrumental in shaping her game.
