Kanpur: The Chanakya Vanshaj family will organise a prayer meeting in memory of Shubham Dwivedi at the Bhagwan Parshuram temple in Nagapur Sarsaul on Wednesday. Shubham Dwivedi, son of Sanjay Dwivedi, was the treasurer of the Chanakya Vanshaj family from Hathipur Maharajpur. He was killed by terrorists in Pahalgam on April 22.
Alok Mishra, who will coordinate the event, said, "Chanakya Vansha Sewa Samiti stands with the Dwivedi family in this time of grief and condemns the attack that claimed Shubham's life."
The Chanakya Vanshaj family has requested local priests to conduct the ceremonies at the temple premises. Members of the community are expected to gather and pay their respects to the departed soul.
All arrangements to accommodate the attendees while following all necessary protocols have been made.
Former state minister and coordinator for the prayer meet, Anant Mishra, said, "We expect the Indian govt to ensure that Shubham's sacrifice does not go in vain. The memorial service will be held from 5:30pm to 8pm."
Many have volunteered to assist with the arrangements, demonstrating the strong bonds within the Chanakya Vanshaj family and the broader community of Nagapur Sarsaul.
