NEW DELHI: HDFC Bank reported net profit rose 5% to Rs 16,821 crore in the quarter ending September 30, compared to Rs 15,976 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
Additionally, net interest income of the nation's biggest private lender increased 10% in Q2 FY25, reaching Rs 30,114 crore against Rs 27,385 crore in the same period last year.
However, its gross non-performing assets (NPA) increased to 1.36% from 1.33% while the net NPA rose to 0.41% from 0.39%.
