The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially extended the last date for submission of the online application form for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2025. Candidates now have until May 12, 2025, 11:59 PM to complete their registration process on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
The decision comes in response to multiple representations received from candidates requesting an extension. UGC NET June 2025 is being conducted for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as Assistant Professor, and admission to Ph.D. programmes in Indian colleges and universities.
UGC NET June 2025: Revised schedule for application, fee payment, and correctionsFollowing the extension, the last date for payment of the examination fee has also been revised. Candidates can now submit their fees through credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI until May 13, 2025, up to 11:59 PM. The NTA has also revised the window for corrections in the submitted application forms. Applicants can make necessary changes to their details between May 14 and May 15, 2025, also up to 11:59 PM. The correction facility will be accessible through the same portal used for registration.
