Former president Donald Trump will spend the election night with Elon Musk, the biggest backer of the GOP this election who spent at least $110 million on a Super PAC supporting Trump. According to an NYT report that cited three people who know the schedule, Elon Musk plans to be at Mar-a-Lago for some of the evening festivities in Palm Beach. He will be among a core group, the report said. Vice President Kamala Harris will be at her alma mater Howard University which will be the first campus to host a presidential election night.

Donald Trump's election night plan

Donald Trump cast his vote with his wife Melania and now there will be several parties with varying levels of exclusivity --including a dinner for a small number of donors at Mar-a-Lago and an even smaller gathering for those who will hang out with him during the evening, the NYT report said. Trump will then address a larger group, including other donors, at the Palm Beach Convention Center later in the evening, it said.

Elon Musk was supposed to host a town hall on X on the eve of the election but it was cancelled owing to technical problems.

Kamala Harris' election night plan

Kamala Harris will attend a family dinner before the election night watch party at Howard University. “I will be at my alma mater, Howard University," Harris said during an interview on Tuesday morning with Pittsburgh’s “The Big K Morning Show with Larry Richert" revealing her D Day night plan. “Before that, I have a tradition of having dinner with my family, and many of them are staying with us. Throughout the day, I’ll be talking with people and reminding them to get out to vote."

Howard is a historically black college that played a significant role in shaping the vice president, Kamala said in various interviews. Harris graduated from Howard in 1986 where she studied economics and political science. In the 2020 election, she made history as the first vice president from Howard.
