JAMMU : Security forces in a joint operation arrested a man with two grenades in Dundak area of Surankote in J&K’s Poonch district on Friday.
“Around 12.30pm, a joint team of Army’s 37 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and 16RR, CRPF’s G/38Bn and Surankote Police manning a checkpoint arrested a person walking suspiciously towards Dhundak. During searches, two grenades were recovered from the suspect,” said an official.
The suspect was identified as Abdul Aziz, a resident of Hari, Surankote. Officials said a case was registered in this connection and further investigation was underway.
